With great criticism about Islam and Muslims rising all over the world, our Ummah has been going through great lengths in taking the initiative to create a. Making da’wah all across the globe and correcting the misinterpretations, non-factual based opinions, and any other misinformation circulating out there that are causing more harm than clarity, alhumdulillah. From the upsurge of media coverage of our brothers and sisters who actively make Islam’s teachings clear, to something as local as opening our Masjids doors, we all need to support their efforts in sha Allah.
“World Hijab Day (WHD) is an annual event in its fifth year. On Feb 1st of every year, WHD asks global citizens of all faiths to observe Hijab for a day in solidarity with Muslim women worldwide. Join the discussion;#IStand4Hijab
The overall mission of WHD is to create a more peaceful world where global citizens respect each other. Particularly, WHD focuses on fighting bigotry, discrimination, and prejudice against Muslim women. This is most crucial in these times where Hijab is being banned in some countries while in other countries, Muslim women are being targeted and harassed verbally and physically.
